I don’t know about the rest of my fellow South Floridian neighbors, but there is something about this Summer that seems especially hot. One step outside legit feels like if you’re in an oven, so my thought process everyday is just to dress appropriately so I don’t feel as though I’m frying.

For the majority of the week I’ve been rotating between my 4 denim shorts. Already a casual item, they pair well with tank tops, feminine off-the-shoudlers, and muscle tees like the one I’m wearing. These “shorts” were once long jeans but as I grew they went up to my ankles, so I’m going to share a tip you can use if have any old jeans that you want to transform. Cut the jeans to your desired length then throw them in the wash. The washing machine will fray the ends giving you a completely different look and great texture.

To elevate the look slightly I added camel suede platforms and a neutral-tone, shoulder bag.
