As many of you know I spent Christmas through New years back home in Barbados . Those past 16 days were everything I could have hoped for: filled with family, food and the best beach days. It’s always the upmost pleasure to go home; and it’s beyond going out and having a rum and coke. There’s something about running the same shop owners that sold me tamarind balls as a child and hearing them ask “ Zoe! You get so tall, yuh good?!” . There is a sense of community in Bim and the over-all energy in is very laid- back and carefree. I had several sentimental moments while on my St. James patio reminiscing on past years raised on the rock.
Enough of the mush! What really put the icing on the cake was my first meet up. Initially I wasn’t expecting anymore that about 15 people, but to see Limegrove’s courtyard filled up with so many of you, had me on cloud nine! I am SO APPRECIATIVE of all you girls that left from work, came from St. Philip and even caught buses just to be there. It was truly a joy to meet you all and hear about your aspirations, dreams and just have some good old girl talk. Check out the pics from the night below x
